Ugli Fruit

Store your Ugli fruit at room temperature if you plan to eat it soon. For maximum storage life, keep fresh Ugli fruit in the refrigerator crisper drawer or inside a breathable produce bag to help maintain moisture and freshness.

When properly refrigerated, Ugli fruit can keep for several weeks and potentially 1–2 months under ideal conditions, depending on its ripeness and freshness when harvested. Its naturally rough, wrinkled skin is normal and isn't an indication that the fruit is old or spoiled.

For longer-term storage, Ugli fruit segments and juice can be frozen for several months. This unique citrus fruit, traditionally associated with a mandarin/tangerine and grapefruit-type citrus cross, has a juicy, sweet-tangy flavour that's excellent for eating fresh, juicing, fruit salads, smoothies and desserts.
