Ordering & Subscriptions
Can I change my order after placing it?
Yes! You can add or remove products from your upcoming order at any time before your Order Edit window closes. Simply log into your Eden’s Box account and make your changes.
What's the difference between Build Your Own and the Bargain Box?
Build Your Own gives you complete control over what you receive. Our Bargain Box is curated by the Eden's Box team using the best-value organic produce available that week, allowing us to pack your box at a great price.
Can I choose exactly what goes in my box?
Absolutely. Our Build Your Own option lets you choose exactly which organic fruit, vegetables, greens and other products you'd like. If you'd rather leave the choosing to us, you can select one of our curated "Bargain Boxes" instead.
Can I place a one-off order without subscribing?
Yes. You don't need a subscription to shop with Eden's Box. You can place a one-off order whenever you like by selecting "Next Week" or "Specific Date" delivery frequency on the product page.
How do I add something to my next delivery?
Log into your Eden’s Box account and browse our organic produce range. When you add an item, select your upcoming delivery and it will automatically be added to that order.
When do orders close each week?
Our weekly order window closes on Saturday night - as stated in your Edens Box account (click the box icon). Make sure your order is finalised before the cut-off to receive your Eden’s Box delivery the following week.
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?

Produce
Where does Eden's Box source its organic produce?
We prioritise fresh, locally grown produce from New Zealand organic farms wherever possible. When something isn't available locally, we may source certified organic produce from trusted overseas growers.
What's the difference between "Certified Organic" and "Organically Grown"?
Certified Organic products have been produced according to recognised organic standards and verified through an organic certification process. Occasionally, we also stock produce from growers using organic growing practices that isn't currently certified. We clearly identify these products as Organically Grown rather than Certified Organic, so you know exactly what you're buying.
Why might organic produce look different from supermarket produce?
Organic produce can naturally vary in size, shape and appearance. Unlike conventional produce, certified organic produce has strict restrictions on synthetic pesticides, post-harvest chemical treatments and coatings — so it may not always look as polished, but that's part of keeping things organic.
What happens if something arrives damaged or isn't fresh?
We stand behind the quality of our produce. If something arrives damaged or isn't up to standard, please get in touch with us and include a photo where possible. We'll make it right.
Is your food organic?
The vast majority of our produce is from certified organic NZ growers; you can tell if it has the green love heart on the product image.
Some of our produce is grown using organic methods, but the farmer is not certified due to the costs associated - this is clearly specified in the product's description!

How often does your produce change?
We aim to offer the largest range of NZ in-season organic produce available. Produce is constantly being changed based on what's in season and available from our organic farm partners.
How fresh is the produce?
Most of our produce is delivered within days of harvest and packed as close to delivery as possible to maximise freshness. This is especially true for highly perishable leafy greens, which are harvested to order!
Where does your produce come from?
We source from a network of New Zealand organic growers, prioritising local and seasonal produce whenever possible. You can see the farm the produce came from on its product page!
