Dates - Medjool
Pantry: Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for around 1–2 months.
Fridge: For maximum freshness, keep Medjool dates sealed in the fridge where they can last 6–12 months while retaining their soft, chewy texture.
Freezer: Medjool dates freeze extremely well and can be stored for 12 months or longer.
Tip: A light white coating can sometimes develop on dates during storage. This is often naturally occurring sugar crystallisation rather than mould.
